SMS Program Terms

These SMS Program Terms ("SMS Terms") describe the text-message program operated by Mero Mero Systems LLC dba ProjectHero ("ProjectHero", "we", "us") to communicate with you ("you", "recipient").

1. Program Name

ProjectHero Messaging Program — a service operated by ProjectHero to send SMS messages directly to homeowners and contractors regarding project updates, account activity, and ProjectHero product information.

2. Program Description

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box, you authorize ProjectHero to send you text messages regarding:

  • If you are a homeowner: project status updates, new bid notifications, contractor selection confirmations, and account-related alerts
  • If you are a contractor: new lead notifications, project and bid updates, account activity alerts, and occasional marketing messages about ProjectHero products and features
  • Transactional notifications related to your use of the ProjectHero platform

3. How You Consent (Opt-In)

You become enrolled in this program by one of the following actions, each of which constitutes prior express written consent under the TCPA:

  • Submitting your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on the ProjectHero homeowner project submission form at projecthero.ai/post-project
  • Checking the SMS consent box during contractor registration on the ProjectHero platform

The exact consent wording you accept is stored with your record and available upon request.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity on the platform. Homeowners typically receive messages when bids arrive or project status changes. Contractors receive messages for new leads and project updates, plus occasional product announcements from ProjectHero. You may receive up to 10 messages per month for transactional updates.

5. Message & Data Rates

Msg & data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge fees for messages sent to or received from you. Standard messaging and data rates apply per your mobile plan. ProjectHero is not responsible for any carrier charges.

6. How To Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from ProjectHero. You will receive a one-time confirmation that no further messages will be sent. Other accepted opt-out keywords include: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.

After you opt out, you will no longer receive automated SMS messages from ProjectHero. You may opt back in at any time by submitting a new consent (see §3) or by replying START or UNSTOP to the same number.

Reply HELP or INFO to any message for assistance. You will receive a response with ProjectHero's support contact information. You may also contact us directly at:

8. Supported Carriers

This program is compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and Google Fi. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Your phone number, consent timestamp, consent source, IP address (where applicable), and the exact consent wording you accepted are stored to maintain a TCPA-compliant audit trail. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to consent to receive SMS messages. By providing your phone number you represent that you are the account holder or have authority to consent on behalf of the account holder.

11. Changes To These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the ProjectHero platform and on this page. Continued participation in the program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.

2. Descripción del Programa

Al proporcionar su número de teléfono móvil y marcar la casilla de consentimiento de SMS, usted autoriza a ProjectHero a enviarle mensajes de texto sobre:

  • Si usted es un homeowner: actualizaciones de estado del proyecto, notificaciones de nuevas ofertas (bids), confirmaciones de selección de contratista y alertas relacionadas con su cuenta
  • Si usted es un contratista: notificaciones de nuevos leads, actualizaciones de proyectos y ofertas, alertas de actividad de cuenta y mensajes ocasionales de marketing sobre los productos y funciones de ProjectHero
  • Notificaciones transaccionales relacionadas con su uso de la plataforma ProjectHero

3. Cómo Dar Su Consentimiento (Opt-In)

Usted se inscribe en este programa mediante una de las siguientes acciones, cada una de las cuales constituye consentimiento expreso previo por escrito bajo la TCPA:

4. Frecuencia de Mensajes

La frecuencia de mensajes varía según su actividad en la plataforma. Los homeowners reciben mensajes cuando llegan nuevas ofertas o cambia el estado del proyecto. Los contratistas reciben mensajes sobre nuevos leads y actualizaciones de proyectos, más anuncios ocasionales de productos de ProjectHero. Puede recibir hasta 10 mensajes por mes por actualizaciones transaccionales.

5. Tarifas de Mensajes y Datos

Se pueden aplicar tarifas de mensajes y datos. Su operador inalámbrico puede cobrar tarifas por los mensajes enviados o recibidos. Se aplican las tarifas estándar de mensajería y datos según su plan móvil.
